Worship“Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Colossians 3:16) This scripture reflects the heart of the worship ministry at Tigard Christian Church. It is our desire to worship "in spirit and in truth" with overflowing hearts filled with the truth and grace of God. The Worship Ministry plays an integral role in helping our church accomplish its mission to know, love and follow God through Jesus Christ by bringing people to Jesus, connecting them to His family, enabling them to grow in following God and sending them into the community and the world to serve others. Whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Jesus Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24)

What to Expect |
We believe that our Sunday worship times are great because we get to join with others and worship together. Here is what you can expect when you come to worship with us on a Sunday.
We will share in: -A time of worshiping through singing together -A message from God's word -An offering time for members and regular attendees -A time of communion for anyone who has made Jesus the Lord of their life -Worship Stations that are available along the back walls to provide a hands-on time to interact with some ideas from the message -A time for decisions - Prayer Counselors are available in all services at the back after the message to pray with you or talk through any decisions you would like to make
We love worshiping together on Sundays, but there is a lot more to our church than you see on Sunday mornings! Tigard Christian Church is committed to helping each and every member to grow in their relationship with God and with other believers. Our mission as a church is to "Make Disciples Who Love God and Love Others." We believe that disciples are made by "Reaching Out and Following Christ in Relationships With Others." We encourage our people to be in small groups during the week to connect with God, connect with other disciples, and to connect with the community. We hope that you will come and worship with us on a Sunday and we hope that you will come and get connected in a small group.
