The Road Student Ministries
The first followers of Christ in the book of Acts were referred to as followers of The Way. In the New Testament you see words The Way or The Road used to describe the Greek word hobos, Jesus also described following Him as choosing to take a narrow road.
But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it. (Matthew 7:14)
The student ministry here at Tigard Christian Church is all about helping students discover how to love God and love others. In doing so, we will live life the way God intended us to. Life is a journey and we are choosing to take the narrow road following Jesus Christ as we go.
Student Minister, Matt Rader

MERGE |

MERGE Every Sunday, middle school, high school, and college age students meet at 9:15am downstairs in the Merge Room. We gather for student led worship before breaking into classes. We have classes for Middle School Students (6th-8th grade), High School Students (9th-12th grade) & College Age. Merge reflects God’s plan for humans; He wants us to connect our lives with Him and to connect our lives with others . . . or MERGE. On Sunday mornings we MERGE our lives with God as we worship, share, and learn. We also MERGE our lives with others as we spend time together. As we follow Jesus, it is important to connect with Him and others. That is our goal. We were never meant to be alone! On the first Sunday of the month we have Extreme Merge We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and students stay together for a message or testimony. We would love for you to join us for Merge. |

Middle School Fuel Groups On Sunday nights we meet downstairs in the Merge Room. From 5:45 to 7:15pm. We gather for hang time, games and activities, worship, a lesson and then discussion groups. This is a time to go deeper into the Bible and build relationships with other students. Every 4th week we have a fun night that the students plan.
