Our Curriculum
Our Preschool classrooms have been
designed to meet the growing needs
and interests of each child. Working in
conjunction with parents, we strive to provide a
strong basis for your child’s academic and spiritual
future.
Our curriculum focuses on hands-on learning integrated
with weekly and monthly themes and includes:

A Day at Preschool
Open Play
A home play center, large room with blocks, trains
and cars, and fine motor activities
Calendar Time
A structured time for prayer, patterning, counting, days of
the week, months, and weather
Snack Time
A communal snack provided by a parent
Circle/Story Time
Singing, dancing, learning rhymes, Bible stories, and an
introduction to science and letters
Project Time
Listening to directions, sequencing and creating a project
based on the daily story or theme
Large Motor Play
Outdoors or in the gym
Gather for Story
A final time to come together before going home
Fun Times at Preschool
Stay & Play
For an additional small fee your child can stay at preschool
until 1:00 to extend playtime and enjoy a packed lunch with
friends
Open Art
Exploring a variety of art mediums and practicing basic
skills with scissors, paint brushes, glue and writing
Library
Weekly, children are encouraged to select a book from our
library to take home
Field Trips
The Pumpkin Patch, Postal Connection and Fire Station
Special Times
Halloween Party, Stone Soup, Christmas Program, Pajama
& Pancake day, Valentine’s Party, Leprechaun Hunt, and
Year-end Luau
