About Our SchoolLittle Scholars Preschool was founded in 2000 as Tigard Covenant Preschool. In 2009 we changed our name and moved to Tigard Christian Church. The desire for the church to increase it community outreach coincided with our growing need to expand our facilities. Our strong foundation and community support has enabled us to create a program that has enriched the lives of many area preschool children.
Admission to Little Scholars Preschool is available without regard to race,
color, creed, national or ethnic origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation,
family composition or disability.
Our Philosophy
We believe in guiding children in their development
of social skills that will help them in
school, teaching them cooperation, sharing,
responsibility, and caring for others. Reading,
cutting, coloring, painting, and projects make
for a very complete Preschool education.Our curriculum is based upon the children's Bible, and prayer is taught and used. Spiritually, in all of our programs children learn about God and His helpers, hear stories from the Bible and learn of God’s plan for him/her. Parents are always welcome to visit and volunteer in the classroom. Our Preschool exists to help children ages 3 to 5 years old grow:
