Tigard Christian Church

Tigard Christian Church has long been considered a missions-minded church.  Currently 22% of general giving is set aside for cross-cultural missions as well as regional ministries and support of Christian Education scholarships.

In 2008, TCC is excited to support ninecross-cultural missionaries throughout the world.  Their ministries vary from medical clinics and health education among the poor to church planting and training of nationals in ministry.

In addition, Tigard Christian Church continues to be involved in the preparation of and participation in short-term mission trips.  Whether sending a construction crew to Nairobior a clown ministry to Romania, the Cross Cultural Missions Team encourages TCC members to be involved in mission ministries.  The Student Ministry Team is also actively involved in a biennial mission trip to Mexico.  Short-term mission trips are one of the most effective ways for people to see God at work throughout the world and gain a global perspective of the great commission.
