Welcome to the wonderful world of children's ministry at Tigard Christian Church. As a part of God's family, children are an important part of the family here at TCC. We seek to minister to children in many different ways, helping them or grow up knowing and loving God. An important part of this are our children's workers who volunteer their time, talent, and energy to staff our programs. These are all people who love God and who love kids. We seek to teach children to know God through His Word, and to make that learning a fun, positive experience. We do background checks on every person who works in our ministry in order to insure a safe environment for the children who come to us.
As important as our children's ministry programs are, they cannot take the place of Christian nurture by the parents. The home is the primary setting for Christian education. For this reason, we seek to supplement and encourage parental involvement in their children's spiritual growth. We encourage families as a whole to grow together by becoming involved in the life of the church.
