The TCC Kids of the Kingdom Choir is excited to begin rehearsals for their Spring musical, "Jailhouse Rock! ~ Shake, Rattle & Roll!" on January 8th.  All 2nd through 6th grade boys and girls in the Tigard and nearby communities are invited to come and join in the fun. 

"Jailhouse Rock!" is an upbeat musical that teaches us about our freedom in Christ as believers.  The musical begins as a group of kids are off for a fun week of hiking and swimming at Camp Koinonia.  But as they arrive, the skies open up with a torrential downpour and they become "stranded" in the Dining Hall...  much to their disappointment.  As everyone begins feeling "locked up" inside, the Camp Director and Junior Counselors show them through music and a whole lot of fun - that even though sometimes we may be confined, we are always free in our hearts - true freedom comes from being reborn in Christ!  Through prayer and praise we can all experience this every day by accepting and knowing Christ.  "Jailhouse Rock!" shows us that God has an amazing way of being able to work all things together for good - whatever the situation.
