Welcome to the wonderful world of children's ministry at Tigard Christian Church. As a part of God's family, children are an important part of the family here at TCC. We seek to minister to children in many different ways, helping them or grow up knowing and loving God. An important part of this is our children's workers who volunteer their time, talent, and energy to staff our programs. These are all people who love God and who love kids. We seek to teach children to know God through His Word, and to make that learning a fun, positive experience. We do background checks on every person who works in our ministry in order to insure a safe environment for the children who come to us.
As important as our children's ministry programs are, they cannot take the place of Christian nurture by the parents. The home is the primary setting for Christian education. For this reason, we seek to supplement and encourage parental involvement in their children's spiritual growth. We encourage families as a whole to grow together by becoming involved in the life of the church.

TCC Kids Worship |

TCC Kids Worship is a great way to make friends and learn about our King. During the 10:30 worship service, 1st-5th grade kids spend time learning about their faith in fun and creative ways. Through games, art projects, songs, and lessons they strengthen their faith in an atmosphere created with them in mind. Join us for lots of fun learning adventures each week in TCC Kid's Worship

Summer Camp |

Summer Camps Children going into grades 3-6 have the opportunity to attend church camps each summer. TCC supports Wi-Ne-Ma Christian Camp at the coast, and each summer we have a number of kids from our congregation who take part in this enriching experience. A camp fund is available to help defray part of the fee for camp. |

Children's Choir |

During the school year (September to May) our kids choir offers a wonderful musical experience while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Kids of the Kingdom Choir (2nd – 6th Graders) practices on Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. This group of great kids performs a Christmas program in December and a spring program in May. Contact Lisa Bernard for more information on how your child can be a part of the fun!
