Do you want to do something really meaningful? Come and give blood on July 13, 2010 at TCC, from 3-8pm. You can sign up online www.givelife.org and use the sponsor code tigardcc to schedule your appointment, or get in touch with Pat Biggs. The Red Cross is always in need of blood supplies no matter what time of year it is. Blood products have a short 'shelf life' that needs to be constantly replenished, which makes it vitally important to give so that others may live. This is a very rewarding way to spend an hour of your time. |

Stephen Ministry = God’s love in ACTION |

Stephen Ministers are trained, caring, volunteer Christian lay people who are available to listen, to support and to be a friend to those experiencing the normal stresses and crises of life. They are not counselors. Their role is to listen and care. Grief, divorce, job loss, re-location, drug abuse, hospitalization, illness, loneliness, disability, family problems, pregnancy and spiritual needs – crisis like these can overwhelm us. Stephen Ministers provide one-on-one ongoing Christian care in a strictly confidential manner to those in need of support and encouragement. What a care receiver tells a Stephen Minister is kept confidential. There are no cold calls made. A Stephen Minister is assigned only to people who agree to receive a Stephen Minister. Men are assigned to men and women are assigned to women. If either you or someone you know would like a Stephen Minister’s help, call the office at 503-639-5713.  |

We offer a variety of studies in addition to our Sunday morning classes. Short-term topical are available throughout the year in addition to our on-going studies.
Christian Life Series We offer this series of three one-session seminars quarterly. It is designed to help you become acquainted with TCC, grow in your relationship with God, and find where you can serve the Lord most effectively. Anyone is welcome to any or all of these classes!
