TCC desires to be a “Reaching Community” We envision four reachings . . . First, we are reaching up to God. This takes place in our corporate and private worship times. We know that we are dependent upon God's grace and provision. In our upward reach we praise and honor God and look to Him as our creator and sustainer. Secondly, we desire to be a place where folks can reach in. We recognize our relationship with God is a personal relationship and must be nurtured in our heart, mind, and soul. Bible study, meditation, and prayer are but a few of the spiritual disciplines that we try to encourage through our classes, regular events, and annual retreats. Thirdly, we reach around each other. This occurs in a variety of ways, from fun fellowship events, service projects, to our REACH Group Bible studies. These types of gatherings are part of living our Christian faith in community that both encourages us and holds us accountable to be in God's Word and to be growing in our relationship with God. And finally, we embrace God’s call to reach out to the world. Tigard Christian Church takes seriously our responsibility to be the hands and feet Jesus in our neighborhoods, in our country, and in the world. We support cross-cultural missions and regional ministries, offer assistance to those in need through our benevolence ministry, and regularly engage in service projects in our community. As you look around you on any given Sunday, we hope that you see TCC as a community you would like to be a part of.
